Project:
Develop a 6-panel newsletter and masthead using existing logo colors (blue and deep red) for a tri-color monthly newsletter for the Cedar Rapids Public Library.
Challenges:
- No bleed
- Black must be uesd for photos and text
- Screened red appears pink and should be avoided
- Use Caxton or Times Roman fonts
- Must have a literary look.
Solution:
- Very literary-looking masthead shows newsletter title, as well as the illustration of the building (taken from the Library logo)
- Bottom sneak peak offers contents and quick reference information
