Project: A friendly financial institution.
Metco Credit Union needed a fresh appeal to attract new credit union members. I reccomended the navy and lime color scheme since it had a conservative, yet invigorating appeal - and worked well for symbolizing money, finances and banking. Illustrations are used liberally to add color and to generate interest. We wanted to 'tone down' the seriousness and confusion often associated with banking and finances, and create an inviting look to young adults, new families, and people new to Cedar Rapids. Summit Group, an Iowa City public relations firm, commissioned me to design this corporate identity program for Metco Credit Union. I've worked with Diana Baculus, owner of Summit Group, for many years. Between my visual ideas and her critical eye, we develop exciting, effective programs.
