 Project:

The 2001-2002 8-page Annual Report cost the same as the 8-page 2-color booklet - thanks to low cost sheet-fed full color printing.

Since the master tabloid sheet size wouldn't allow for a bleed, we proposed a square format, and sharp black border.

Challenges:

  • Low budget
  • Amatuer digital photos
  • Old professional photos

Solution:

  • Emphasize the good, minimize the bad
  • Make use of colors in good photos to help draw the eye them, and make them more memorable than the weaker photos.
