 Project:

The 2003 Annual Report had the same challenges as the previous year - low budget and amatuer images.

Challenges:

  • No professional photos could be used - the library didn't want to repeat the images

Solution:

  • Took digital photos of inside of library, in an area which was rarely photographed (see cover, top left)
  • Used stock images, and filled their hands with imaginary items similar to what could be found at the library (see cover, top left).
  • Took a close-up digital photo of the suspended lighting in the library, and skewed the image to use as an artistic element (see upper right).
