Project: Coupon books
The big challenge with coupon books is that many of the advertisers are small businesses with no graphics or quality corporate identity. Photography was a low-quality, amateur digitial photo - or, in cases where advertisers were reimbursed by suppliers - quality images were used. But we made the best of it - and designed some nice-looking ads! In addition to designing the ads, I created a proofing site area where advertisers could view their proofs. Ads were billed at a flat rate. This project consisted of four coupon books, plus an "Elite" version for upscale products and services. The books ranged from twelve to twenty-four pages. |
