This fun project required a great deal of research, and was probably one of the more educational projects I've had in a long time. Refrigeration, HVAC, amonia, refrigerant, plain ol' coolers, and mechanical contracting. This company was in a growth stage - and they needed to examine their current and future markets. With that information (and lots of photos) we created this inviting folder used for estimates and general sales calls. The pocket on the right features a die cut, and the hand is actually kiss-cut with slits to hold a real business card. (Behind it a general permanent card appears). This art direction and design were then applied to their web site at left. Business cards were personalized with a photo, so new prospects would find it easier to remember their new rep. Generational small business owners love their original home-made logos, but with the brilliant logo developed for web applications, Ace Refrigeration agreed to let us modify the look for all collateral materials. The logo was recreated in Adobe Dimensions, then airbrushed in PhotoShop. The front cover includes spot varnish with all of Ace's services in text, "blowing" all over the cover as if coming out of an imaginary fan. Challenges:
