| If you bought a Baby ChouChou® doll for your child or grandchild, you purchased from a buyer who made the decision from a catalog we created. Catalogs play an important role in current American marketing. Toy Fairs or other major trade shows can make or break a company. If the catalogs aren't there to hand out to prospects, a major trade show opportunity may be lost, possibly affecting an entire year of sales. That's why on-time deliverables are so important to the studio.
Sure, the catalog should look good. But if it's late it doesn't really matter. We welcome catalogs as projects. The challenge of creating something wonderful under a tight deadline makes work fun. But catalogs require a lot more than design - they require a great deal of organiziation and project management skills, as well as general marketing experience. Excellent employees and outside vendors help make the critical difference. Getting it right the first time, staying cool under pressure, and being multi-skilled are important factors. Catalogs should fufill two missions: they draw the person farther in the catalog, at and they highlight the items the company wishes to sell, thereby making the items more desirable to the consumer. Not all catalogs are direct to consumers, however. Most of the samples here are business to business. Some show products, some show capabilities. Feel free to browsee.
