Although we are located in Iowa, we offer illustration services nationwide. Illustration can be computer-generated or hand-made. Although Brown Group offers both, the samples displayed here are hand-rendered, without the use of photographic references (references from "life" only).
Brown Group illustrations have been published in regional and international publications. Many of the samples shown here are from a project in process now.
As a former courtroom illustrator, Kathy Quinn-Brown is familiar with rendering the human body and specializes in the illustration of people/children as well as still-life illustrations. Styles can range from photo realism to realistic-cartoonish styles. Media consists of pen and ink, pencil (graphite), berol prismacolor and acrylic paints.
